In-unit wifi
What is in-unit wifi?
Some apartments are equipped with in-unit wifi. This connection option allows you to easily connect your devices to wifi without needing a router of your own.
In-unit wifi is provided via a small device called an Access Point (AP) mounted to the wall in your unit. Typically these Access Points are located in the livingroom or bedroom in your apartment.

Connecting to in-unit wifi
Connecting to your in-unit wifi is simple. There will be a QR code printed on the wi-fi device or on a refrigerator magnet in the kitchen. Scan the code with your phone or other device to pull up the connection information. You’ll see the wifi name and password, connection status for your unit, and lots of other useful information.
To connect your devices, select the wifi network for your unit and then enter the password provided. Most networks have both a 2.4 Ghz and a 5Ghz signal. Both should work on your devices but the 5 Ghz signal may provide better performance.

Can you change the wifi name and password?
It is not currently possible for tenants to change the wifi name or password on In-unit wifi. If you would like to setup a network using your own wifi name and password, we recommend purchasing and connecting your own router.
Other ways to connect
In addition to wifi provided for in-unit wifi locations, your Access Point also comes equipped with multiple ethernet ports. From those ports, you can connect TV’s, game consoles, or other ethernet-enabled devices. You can also connect your own wifi router if you prefer to not use the provided wifi.
