Connecting a wifi router
finding a router
If you don’t already have a wifi router, we recommend reading through our article on router recommendations:
locate your wall port(s)
Once you have your router, the first thing to do is to locate the ethernet wall port in your apartment.
Ethernet ports are typically located in common areas in the apartment, such as livingrooms, bedrooms, and kitchens.
connect your router
Once you’ve located the most convenient wall port in your apartment, you can proceed to connect your router.
Connect the colored internet port on your router to the wall port using an ethernet cable. Remember that cable modems or modem/router combinations will not work with our network.
complete your router setup
If you have a new router, the last step is to complete your router’s setup instruction. Each router will have specific instructions so be sure to follow them carefully to avoid issues.
