FAQ

Do I need a router?

While you don’t need a router to get online, we highly recommend using one. A router will provide you with wi-fi and a secure way to connect all of your devices.

How do I get connected?

For most properties, you’ll just need to locate the wall ports in your unit. You can connect a router or any other ethernet-based device to the wall port. For more information, check our Moving In article.

Do you provide wi-fi?

It depends on your location. Some locations offer convenience or in-unit wi-fi. Otherwise, your apartment is equipped with ethernet wall ports. You can connect a wi-fi router to those ports for wireless internet.

My apartment has in-unit wifi provided. Can I change the wifi name and password?

It is not currently possible for tenants to change the wifi name or password on In-unit wifi. If you would like to setup a network using your own wifi name and password, we recommend purchasing and connecting your own router.
