*First you need to find your device’s MAC Address. Instructions for some common devices are Below.

**For devices that are not listed try searching online for instructions on where to locate your MAC Address, or contact the manufacturer. Then follow the instructions below under All Other Non-Browser Devices.

Tivo

  1. Turn on the Tivo.
  2. From the Main Tivo Screen open the Menu.
  3. Select Settings.
  4. Select Phone/Network.
  5. Copy the MAC Address shown on the page.
  6. Go to your computer, which must be connected to the apartment’s internet connection, and open up a browser i.e. Firefox, Safari, Chrome, and go to the webpage usage.connectivityu.com Please Type This In Exactly How It’s Shown.
  7. On the webpage you will see Enter device’s MAC Address. Enter the MAC address of your Xbox 360 there.
  8. When entering the MAC Address, YOU MUST PUT A COLON  :  EVERY 2 CHARACTERS. For example: 00:1A:2B:3C:4D:5E The colon key is Shift+Semicolon, the key to the right of L on your keyboard.
  9. Click Register Device.

Vonage

1.  Vonage V-Phone Adaptor

-   The MAC Address will be listed on the Outside of the adaptor’s packaging.

2.  F1000 Wi-Fi Phone Adaptor

 -   The MAC Address will be listed Behind The Battery. You will have to remove    the battery to find the MAC Address.

3.   All Other Adaptors

 -   The MAC Address will be listed on the Outside of the Adaptor. Usually it is located on a sticker which is on the Bottom on the Adaptor.

4.   Go to your computer, which must be connected to the apartment’s internet connection, and open up a browser i.e. Firefox, Safari, Chrome, and go to the webpage usage.connectivityu.com Please Type This In Exactly How It’s Shown.

5.   On the webpage you will see Enter device’s MAC Address. Enter the MAC address of your Xbox 360 there.

6.   When entering the MAC Address, YOU MUST PUT A COLON  :  EVERY 2 CHARACTERS. For example: 00:1A:2B:3C:4D:5E The colon key is Shift+Semicolon, the key to the right of L on your keyboard.

7.   Click Register Device.

Roku

*The MAC Address should be listed on the Back of the Roku. If it is Not, please follow the instructions below.

  1. Turn on the Roku.
  2. From the Main Screen press UP to make the Menu Bar appear.
  3. Select Settings.
  4. Select Player Info.
  5. Copy the MAC Address shown on the page.
  6. Go to your computer, which must be connected to the apartment’s internet connection, and open up a browser i.e. Firefox, Safari, Chrome, and go to the webpage usage.connectivityu.com Please Type This In Exactly How It’s Shown.
  7. On the webpage you will see Enter device’s MAC Address. Enter the MAC address of your Xbox 360 there.
